agricultural center for training (wof act)
At WOF ACT, we exist to bridge the gap between learning and doing—empowering the next generation of professional farmers to gain real-world confidence, skill, and purpose. As the first training school in the United States to be backed by the Market Gardener Institute’s Masterclass, we combine this proven, world-renowned curriculum with immersive, hands-on education in the field.
Launching Spring 2026: Our First Training Program
We’re excited to announce the launch of our first training program in Spring 2026—designed for aspiring farmers who want to learn how to build, operate, and sustain a successful market garden farm.
Our approach is rooted in biointensive, regenerative, and organic growing practices, with a focus on 1–3 acre farms that can support both families and livelihoods.
Participants will help build out our first working farm—a thriving, small-scale model located on-site at White Oaks Farms in Stillwater, Minnesota. Using the Market Gardener Institute’s Masterclass and proven farm school systems, you’ll gain hands-on experience in:
Building growing beds and hoop houses
Installing irrigation systems and greenhouses
Designing efficient farm layouts
Developing wash/pack facilities
Marketing and managing farm operations

A full-season, immersive experience covering every aspect of small-scale farming, from soil to sales.
